Buzz is an original board member who has been involved with WisCorps since its inception. He strongly believes in providing young people with hands-on work experiences in a variety of outdoor settings while doing meaningful work that benefits the environment.

Now retired, Buzz spent the final seventeen years of his career teaching environmental studies at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. Most of his hobbies and interests are connected to the outdoors, and he spends much of his spring, summer, and fall working in The Nature Place’s vegetable garden.
