Lauren grew up as a nature lover in southern Wisconsin, and her affinity for the outdoors only grew stronger in the beauty of the Driftless Region where she attended UW-La Crosse and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

In her senior year of college, Lauren was selected for a Marketing Fellowship with Central Conservation, where she provided marketing support to both The Nature Place and WisCorps divisions. Following graduation, she started working as a Marketing Graphic Designer at HSR Associates, a local architecture firm in La Crosse.

Although working full time as a graphic designer, Lauren enjoys exploring a variety of creative mediums including printmaking, fiber arts, and drawing, where she often takes inspiration from nature. In her free time, she can be found spending time with friends, crafting, and getting outside whenever possible, especially for a bike ride.
